Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has insisted that on-loan striker Tyrone Barnett is capable of scoring the goals that will move his side away from the relegation zone.
The 27-year-old was loaned to Ipswich after he was transfer-listed for a breach of club discipline at Peterborough United, but McCarthy believes that Barnett will be an excellent addition to the Tractor Boys' squad.
McCarthy told BBC Radio Suffolk: "We're just taking him on loan and we'll see what happens.
"I think if we get the right service to him he will score goals. He's impressed in training already this week.
"The scouting reports have all said if you can get him until January he will be excellent."
Barnett had scored just one league goal for Peterborough this season before his move to Portman Road.
