Former Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy suggests that he has no desire to move abroad after interest from Australia, South Africa and Israel.

Mick McCarthy has suggested that he has no intention of accepting any offers to manage away from Great Britain.

Last month, McCarthy left his role as Ipswich Town boss and it has resulted in approaches from clubs in Australia, South Africa and Israel.

However, the former Republic of Ireland boss has said that the positions are "a bit far" and reiterated that he wants a job in the Premier League.

The 59-year-old told BBC Radio 5 live: "They all kind of appeal to me to get back into work, but no, it's a bit far. I would love to get back in the Premier League at some stage."

McCarthy has also been linked with the vacant roles at West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland.
