Daryl Murphy and Paul Taylor both start against Huddersfield Town after completing their respective moves to Ipswich Town this week.

Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has handed Daryl Murphy and Paul Taylor debuts for the visit of Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

Murphy joined the club on loan from Celtic and will begin his third spell at Portman Road by offering support to Michael Chopra in attack.

Taylor also makes his first start for Jewell's side after leaving Peterborough United, but George Boyd's proposed transfer could not be completed.

Huddersfield begin life without Jordan Rhodes at Portman Road and Simon Grayson will be hoping that Adam Hammill can soften the blow following the striker's departure.

However, the on-loan Wolves winger starts on the bench, with James Vaughan being given his first start for the Terriers.

Ipswich Town: Loach, Ainsley, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell, Taylor, Luongo, Drury, Martin, Murphy, Chopra

Huddersfield Town: Smithies, Dixon, Lynch, Clarke, Hunt, Southern, Norwood, Clayton, Ward, Vaughan, Novak
