Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has admitted that he has been pleased with the work he has carried out in the transfer market this summer.
A number of players have arrived at Portman Road during the pre-season break, including Paul Anderson, Christophe Berra and Jay Tabb.
However, while some fans have called for even more fresh faces, McCarthy has insisted that he is "really delighted" with the recruits.
"Everybody always wants more, more, more - whether it's money, players or whatever," he is quoted as saying by the East Anglian Daily Times.
"I can only keep saying that I'm really delighted with the squad I've been able to build. I think we've been smart with our transfer dealings and have been able to get good players without spending money."
Next up for Ipswich on Saturday afternoon is a home clash against Leeds United.
