Massimiliano Allegri: 'Juventus need to get back to winning ways'

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri challenges his side to rediscover their winning form as they prepare to face Cagliari in Serie A.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has talked up the importance of his side's upcoming clash with Cagliari Calcio.

Allegri's men have had to settle for two consecutive draws in recent weeks and their coach is now hunting out a victory to keep the club at the summit of the Serie A standings.

"Cagliari are a difficult side who create a lot of opportunities. They've shown that in their home games this season, especially against Fiorentina, and are fighting for their top flight survival," Allegri told reporters ahead of the fixture.

"But we have to get back to winning ways by turning in a good performance. Our display was decent against Sampdoria, but we just couldn't claim the win."

Juve sit in first position in Serie A on 36 points, but they are being closely followed by Roma who are just one point behind.
