Juventus manager Antonio Conte admitted that he was disappointed after his side's 2-2 draw at home to Genoa.
The Old Lady led twice at the Juventus Stadium, but a late goal from Andrea Caracciolo secured a share of the spoils for the visitors.
"We faced a Genoa side with genuine quality, but we still created a lot, even if we suffered a bit more than in other games," Conte told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Towards the end, the match lost its spark with us still in the lead, and we had to be remain very attentive.
"I would rather lose the game and win the others beforehand than to earn four draws, but the road is long for us and we must continue to grow. Do not forget where we came from."
Despite the draw, Juventus are still top of the Serie A table.
