Fernando Llorente hails "great effort" against Udinese

Fernando Llorente says that Juventus should have been more clinical during their win over Udinese on Sunday.

Juventus striker Fernando Llorente has praised his side after their 1-0 win over Udinese on Sunday.

The 28-year-old scored the only goal of the game in injury time to secure three points at the Juventus Stadium, but he admits they should have won by a more comfortable margin.

"We are happy, it was a very tough game against a good team like Udinese," he told reporters. "We created many scoring chances but we could not convert them.

"Today we just had to win and we did that, the victory came in the final seconds after a great effort. My goal? I was hoping to do well, I'm working to continue to improve."

Juventus are currently top of the Serie A table.
