Report: Juventus pull plug on Sami Khedira Paris Saint-Germain move

Juventus will reportedly refuse to sell Sami Khedira to Paris Saint-Germain because the Ligue 1 champions have waited too long to make their move this summer.

Juventus have reportedly rejected Paris Saint-Germain's offer to sign Sami Khedira due to the French side's hesitation in making a move for the player.

The Germany international has been linked with PSG in the past few months, with head coach Thomas Tuchel fuelling speculation by admitting that he was in regular contact with the player.

According to Calciomercato, Khedira was interested in moving away from Juve earlier this summer and the club were also looking for replacements for the midfielder.

However, the report states that the Italians will no longer consider letting Khedira go as PSG have left it very late to make a move, similar to what happened in the case of Alex Sandro.

In addition, Khedira is said to have since won over Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri and as such is likely to stay put at the Allianz Stadium.

Khedira joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer after leaving Real Madrid in 2015 and has made over 100 appearances for the Italian giants.
