Juventus manager Antonio Conte has reportedly identified Swiss midfielder Valentin Stocker as a primary target for the January transfer window.
Stocker has impressed the Italian champions with his performances for Basel in the Champions League and Europa League in recent seasons, offering a creative spark from a wide-left position.
Juve have had Stocker watched on more than one occasion and are currently weighing up making an offer in January, according to Geruchteticker.com.
The 24-year-old has made just shy of 150 senior appearances for Basel, while also holding down a regular starting spot under Ottmar Hitzfeld for the Swiss national side as they close in on World Cup qualification.
Conte is thought to have made it clear that he would like to strengthen in wide areas if funds are available in January, with Jonathan Biabiany and Jeremy Menez also on the Bianconeri's radar.
