Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly intends to prolong his playing career beyond 2022 when his Juventus contract expires.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has two years left to run on the reported €30m-a-year (£26m) deal signed when joining from Real Madrid in 2018.
Some have questioned whether Ronaldo will retire at that point, when he will be 37, but Tuttosport suggests that he could play into his 40s.
Ronaldo is said to be working closely with personal trainers to ensure that he has the best chance of matching Zlatan Ibrahimovic in maintaining his high performance levels.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid ace has scored 67 Serie A and Champions League goals for Juve since the start of 2018-19.
