Burnley's Luke Hendrie leaves the club to join Kilmarnock on a loan deal until January.

Luke Hendrie has left Burnley to join Kilmarnock on a loan deal until January.

The 21-year-old moved to Turf Moor in 2015 after being released by Derby County, and spent loan spells at Hartlepool United and York City last season.

After completing his move to Kilmarnock, Hendrie told the club's official website: "It is a really exciting opportunity to join the club and I can't wait to get started."

The versatile player made three appearances for Hartlepool and 10 for York in the 2015-16 campaign.
