Los Angeles Galaxy club president Chris Klein has revealed that there have been no talks with Steven Gerrard about possibly sending the midfielder out on loan.
The Liverpool captain will move to the United States in the summer after deciding to call time on his 25-year career on Merseyside.
The Reds are open to Gerrard returning to Anfield in a loan capacity during the off-season in MLS, but Klein has insisted that the notion has not been raised with the player.
"He's strictly LA Galaxy," Klein told Sky Sports News. "We've never had a conversation with Stevie or his agent about any sort of loan. We're excited to have him here in July to help us strive for another championship in 2015."
Last night, Gerrard featured in Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.
