Miroslav Klose raring to go

Miroslav Klose insists that he has overcome his thigh injury and is ready for a successful Euro 2012 campaign.

Germany forward Miroslav Klose has insisted that he is fully fit and confident of a successful Euro 2012 campaign.

The 33-year-old made only one appearance since March for Lazio after picking up a thigh injury, but he featured in both of his country's friendlies last month.

He said: "I'm right on schedule and I am pain-free. I have a very good feeling we are well prepared and have a great team."

Klose is five goals shy of Gerd Mueller's German record of 68 international goals.
