Lazio director of sport Igli Tare has cast Edy Reja's future as manager in doubt following the team's failure to qualify for the Champions League.
The Biancazzurri were unable to topple Udinese in the race for third spot despite beating Inter Milan 3-1 on the final day of the season.
Tare has now revealed that Reja's future will be decided "over the next couple of days".
"Reja? Now we will celebrate this evening, then over the next few days we will have a meeting and make a decision," said the Albanian.
"We must thank Reja for all he has done, but the coaching situation will be decided over the next few days."
Reja arrived at the Stadio Olimpico from Hadjuk Split in February 2010.
