Gianfranco Zola: 'Title race is over, Leicester City have won Premier League'

Gianfranco Zola believes that the Premier League title race is "over" as Leicester City have a seven-point lead with six games left to play.

Gianfranco Zola has told Leicester City's rivals to give up on the Premier League title because he believes that Claudio Ranieri's side are already champions.

The Foxes currently have a seven-point lead at the top of the table with six games left to play.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are Leicester's closest challengers due to being second and third respectively, but Ranieri's side only need to win four of their remaining games to win the crown.

"It will be a special win," Zola told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I am happy for Claudio and the club. The title race is over as only they can lose it at this point and it won't happen. Leicester City are the surprise team of the season."

Leicester, who were battling relegation last season, have won 20 of their 32 league games.
