Crystal Palace's Joe Ledley hails 'big three points' at Leicester City

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley believes that strong team spirit is behind the club's good form after they beat bottom-placed Leicester to move clear of danger.

Crystal Palace's Joe Ledley has described his side's 1-0 win against Leicester City in the Premier League as a "massive" result for the club.

The midfielder, who scored the only goal of the game to edge the Eagles towards mid-table security, believes that strong team spirit is behind the club's good recent form.

"It is massive to beat the teams around us. We knew it would be difficult, it's a big three points," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"Away from home we've been pretty good and we need to keep it going. There's a great team spirit in the camp."

The result leaves Palace in 13th place in the table, while Leicester are rooted to the bottom.
