Teenage left-back Ben Chilwell has penned a new long-term contract with Leicester City.
The 19-year-old, who has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool in recent months after contract talks reportedly stalled, is now committed to the Premier League champions until the summer of 2021.
Chilwell, a England Under-21 international, was part of the Leicester team that recorded a 1-1 draw against Celtic in the International Champions Cup on July 23, before netting in the resultant penalty shootout.
"It's fantastic news for us. Ben is a player with a big future and I am very happy that future will be with Leicester City," Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri told the club's official website.
"Ever since I arrived in Leicester, Ben has been a young player that has shown a lot of promise. He has all the attributes you would want in a defender and shows a lot of maturity for a player of just 19. He has come back for pre-season in very good condition and is already showing that he is ready to push for a place in the team."
Chilwell has not yet made a Premier League appearance for Leicester, but represented Huddersfield Town on eight occasions during a loan spell in the Championship last season.
