Nice are reportedly set to sign Kasper Schmeichel from Leicester City on a permanent deal.
The Denmark international is closing in on an exit from the King Power Stadium that would see an 11-year stay with the Foxes come to an end.
According to Sky Sports News, Schmeichel is expected to undergo a medical within the next 48 hours after Leicester and Nice reached an agreement for the transfer.
Schmeichel played an important role in Leicester's surprise Premier League win in the 2015-16 season, while he also managed to win the Championship and promotion in the 2013-14 campaign, the FA Cup and the Community Shield in 2021.
The 35-year-old is set to join up with Aaron Ramsey, who recently left Juventus to sign for Nice on a free transfer.
While Schmeichel is set to head off to the South of France, Leicester could face further departures, with James Maddison, Wesley Fofana, Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes all being linked with moves away this summer.
