Liverpool will face Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg in the last-16 stage of the 2021-22 Champions League.

Liverpool have been drawn against Red Bull Salzburg in the last-16 of the 2021-22 Champions League.

The Reds navigated the group stage with aplomb, taking 18 points from a possible 18 against Porto, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid to ease into the knockout rounds.

The 2018-19 champions have now been rewarded with a tie against Salzburg, who advanced to the last-16 courtesy of a second-placed finish in Group G behind Lille.

The Austrian champions will be playing in the last-16 for the first time in the 2021-22 season after taking 10 points in the group stage, claiming wins over Lille, Salzburg and Sevilla.

Liverpool will play the first leg away at Salzburg in February before welcoming Matthias Jaissle's side to Anfield in March.
