Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has described his side's FA Cup quarter-final against Stoke City this weekend as "perhaps the most important game of the season".
The Reds are vying for a second appearance at Wembley Stadium following last month's Carling Cup success against Cardiff City.
"Sunday's game is perhaps the most important game of the season for us," Reina told the Liverpool Echo.
"It will be a cup final for us. It is another opportunity for us to get back to Wembley, and that means a lot for us and for the club. To take one step closer to a trophy is an opportunity for us.
"We have to play our best, and playing at Anfield is something we can take confidence from."
Stoke have taken four points from Liverpool in the Premier League this season after a 1-0 win at the Britannia Stadium and a goalless draw at Anfield.
