Liverpool teenager Sheyi Ojo is reportedly expected to be out of action for one month with a back injury.
A scan is believed to have revealed a fracture in the 19-year-old's back after he complained of pain during the Reds' pre-season tour of the United States.
According to ESPN, the Merseyside outfit do not yet know for certain how long Ojo will be on the treatment table, but they do not expect him to be available until mid-September.
The winger featured in Jurgen Klopp's pre-season, but he was absent from friendlies against Barcelona and Mainz 05 due to the back issue.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the injury came about from a heavy workload rather than an isolated incident.
Ojo made his senior debut for the Premier League club last season and went on to make 11 appearances after being recalled from a loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
