Jamie Carragher has hailed the contribution that Pepe Reina made during his stint with Liverpool.
The Spanish goalkeeper arrived at Anfield in 2005 and he was a virtual ever-present in the starting lineup up until last season, when he was replaced by Simon Mignolet and subsequently loaned out to Italian side Napoli.
The 31-year-old is now expected to sign a permanent deal with Bayern Munich and upon learning of the move, Carragher took to Twitter to pay tribute to his former teammate.
Good luck to @PReina25 top keeper and man. From 2006/09 one of the best in Europe. Kept a fair few clean sheets together!
