Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has bemoaned his side's failure to create goalscoring chances during their 0-0 draw with Stoke City earlier today.
The Reds only managed five attempts on target, none of which forced visiting goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen into any meaningful action.
"We had plenty of possession but we need a wee bit more of an attacking edge up front," Dalglish told BBC Sport.
"If you get an opening you need to take your chances and we could have been a little bit more creative with our possession."
Liverpool remain sixth in the Premier League table.
