Ajax manager Frank De Boer says he is honoured by attention from Liverpool but insists he wants to stay in Amsterdam.
Since taking over in 2010, De Boer has led Ajax to back-to-back Eredivisie titles, which has fuelled speculation linking him with a move to Anfield. The Reds are looking for a new boss after Kenny Dalglish was sacked last week, but De Boer is adamant that the new manager won't be him.
"I am honored by the request, but am only just started with Ajax," De Boer told De Telegraaf.
"In Amsterdam we're on a new path along with the club and Wim Jonk and Dennis Bergkamp, my colleagues in the technical heart.
"That's why I stay loyal to Ajax in the coming years."
De Boer won five Eredivisie titles and the Champions League as a player.
