Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has claimed that the team can take a "lot of encouragement" from their surprise victory over Liverpool on Monday night.
The Welsh outfit may be rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, but they managed to cause an upset by earning a 1-0 victory over the Reds at the Liberty Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp's team were unbeaten in 14 league matches prior to the clash in Wales, but Carlos Carvalhal's tactics enabled Swansea to keep Liverpool at bay.
"We had to be fully focused on defending and that always gives you a chance, but we didn't just sit back and wait for them, there were moments when we attacked as well," Fabianski told Sky Sports News.
"At this moment the win does nothing for us but with this game and then Arsenal at home next, everyone will look at us as the side that's going to be beaten so we'll get a lot of encouragement from tonight, and we closed the gap on the teams above us, which was very important."
Swansea are three points from safety.
