Roberto Firmino wants to become Brazil legend

Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino believes that he can achieve 'great things' with the Brazilian national team.

Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino has said that both he and club and international teammate Philippe Coutinho can become legends for the Brazil national team.

Firmino joined Coutinho at Anfield in the summer after making a big-money move from Hoffenheim, while he has already made 10 appearances for Brazil.

The attacker has set his sights high for his country, claiming that the heroics of Ronaldinho and Ronaldo for the Selecao are in his mind.

"It would be hard for anyone to be as good as Ronaldinho or Ronaldo but me and Philippe are going to do our best to get close to them and be the best players we can be for Brazil," he told reporters.

"It was ugly what happened in the World Cup semi-final against Germany but there are new players in Brazil to turn things around and who can show that Brazil still has lots of talent to be successful."

Both Firmino and Coutinho are in the Liverpool team for Monday's Premier League trip to Arsenal.
