Everton manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that his side will not be paying any extra attention to Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge in this weekend's Merseyside derby.
Sturridge returned from injury to score in the 2-0 victory over West Ham United last Saturday in his first appearance since August, but Martinez believes that it would be foolish to only concentrate on stopping the England international, who could be in line to start at Goodison Park.
"You can only play with 11. People can focus too much on one player," the Spaniard told reporters. "If they could play with 11 plus Sturridge, then I would be worried.
"They have real quality and when you look at the money they spent, over £100m, you are not going to get bad players in their squad."
Sturridge has scored three goals in three derby appearances since moving to Anfield.
