Lille striker Divock Origi has revealed that he is in regular contact with Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers ahead of his agreed move to Anfield in the summer.
The 19-year-old signed for the Reds back in the summer from Lille for a reported £10m figure, but was immediately loaned back to the French club for the season.
Origi, who has scored four times in five starts for Lille in this campaign, could start in Belgium's Euro 2016 qualifier against Andorra on Friday.
"Brendan Rodgers keeps in touch when he can because he's a busy man," Origi told Sky Sports News. "Sometimes he sends me some messages and sometimes people from Liverpool come and visit me in Lille. It's good to know they are following my progress.
"Things are going well but there's still some room for improvement. I'm still working hard trying to prepare myself for a higher level. I'm feeling good and ready to continue this form."
In the Premier League, Liverpool have won three out of their seven games so far this season.
