Brendan Rodgers: 'Daniel Sturridge is still improving'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that Daniel Sturridge will continue to improve his game.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that Daniel Sturridge still has a lot of improving to do after his impressive form continued on Sunday.

Sturridge found the net twice in a 4-3 victory over Swansea City at Anfield to score for the eighth consecutive Premier League game.

"He's a natural goalscorer," Rodgers told reporters. "He looks like he can score in every single game.

"He's got the ability, he's got the quality and thankfully he plays for us here and has still got a lot of improving to do."

Sturridge is second behind teammate Luis Suarez in the top scorers' chart this season.
