Brendan Rodgers not worried over Liverpool's league position

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers refuses to panic over the Reds' current place in the bottom three of the Premier League table.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that there is no need to panic over the Reds' current position in the bottom three of the Premier League table.

The Merseyside club have only managed to pick up two points out of a possible 15 but the former Swansea City coach believes that the Reds will turn their season around.

"Every game is important, but we've got 99 points to play for. There's a hell of a long way to go," said Rodgers.

"Our first five games, performance-wise, have been good. We haven't got the points that we really wanted in the games, or even deserved in the games. Certainly on Saturday we'll really be looking to hopefully get the points that we deserve and take it from there."

Liverpool travel to Norwich City tomorrow.
