Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has urged his side to treat Mansfield Town like Manchester United and not underestimate them.
The Merseyside giants face the Conference side in the FA Cup third round on Sunday and Rodgers is expecting a "tricky" game.
"We have prepared exactly the same for Mansfield as we would Manchester United. I don't think you can underprepare because that's when it can shoot you in the foot," said Rodgers.
"These are always tricky games, and Mansfield are a well organised side who will cause us problems if we underestimate them. They are a team that play 4-4-1-1, they're direct, and they have a centre-half that throws it into the box from a mile.
"Our homework has to be complete for a game like this, and we will treat it properly to ensure we give ourselves the best chance."
Liverpool's new signing Daniel Sturridge could make his debut in the game on Sunday.
