Team News: Aston Villa make two changes

Paul Lambert makes two changes to his Aston Villa side as they prepare to face Liverpool in the Premier League.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has made two changes to his side to face Liverpool this afternoon, with Fabian Delph and Nathan Baker coming in for Ciaran Clark and Joe Cole.

Clark serves a one-match ban after being sent off against Leicester City last week, while Cole has a hamstring strain.

New signing Carles Gil, meanwhile, only makes the substitutes' bench.

Liverpool leave Steven Gerrard out of their squad with the midweek League Cup semi-final against Chelsea in mind.

Raheem Sterling, however, comes back into the side after being given the week off.

Aston Villa: Guzan; Hutton, Okore, Baker, Cissokho; Sanchez, Westwood, Delph, Cleverley; Agbonlahor, Benteke

Liverpool: Mignolet; Can, Skrtel, Sakho; Moreno, Lucas, Henderson, Markovic, Coutinho; Sterling, Borini
