Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Thursday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will continue to work around the absences of Sadio Mane for Thursday's Premier League encounter with Leicester City.

The attacker is still celebrating Senegal's Africa Cup of Nations victory over Egypt, but Mohamed Salah is back in Liverpool training and could come into contention for the fixture.

Divock Origi is back in full training and could feature in some capacity, while Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also set to be available after recovering from COVID-19, but Jordan Henderson will need to shake off a minor back problem.

Alisson Becker prepares to take his rightful spot in goal over Caoimhin Kelleher, while Kostas Tsimikas and Ibrahima Konate are also set to drop out of the team from the FA Cup win over Cardiff City.

Andy Robertson and Joel Matip ought to return alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk in midweek, as Fabinho also prepares to displace Naby Keita in the engine room.

Thiago Alcantara should also be ready to take his place in the first XI, although Klopp will need to carefully manage the Spaniard's fitness amid a hectic couple of weeks.

Luis Diaz made his debut off the bench in the cup win over Cardiff and may be handed his first start for the club here, with Harvey Elliott likely restricted to a bench role despite scoring his first goal for Liverpool on his comeback game at the weekend.
