Alberto Aquilani's agent claims that the midfielder will be playing at Liverpool this season following a season-long loan with AC Milan.

The agent of Alberto Aquilani has claimed that the midfielder will be playing at Liverpool this season.

The 28-year-old has spent the last two campaigns on loan at Juventus and AC Milan respectively following his move to Anfield from Roma in 2009.

Despite rumours of a possible permanent switch to the Rossoneri, Franco Zavaglia told caliciomercato.com: "He'll play for Liverpool.

"There is little to say about leaving AC Milan, the season is over and he'll put that behind him.

"Alberto is back in England and is still a Liverpool player. He will play there next season."
