Jackson Martinez's agent has revealed that his client would prefer a move to Serie A, following recent reports linking him with Premier League clubs.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are among the sides rumoured to be interested in the Colombian, but both clubs could be forced to look elsewhere after being told that the 28-year-old is keen on a switch to one of the Italian giants in the summer.
"His desire is clear. He wants to play in Serie A. He has his heart set on Italy and if he were to leave Porto then Serie A would be his first choice," Henrique Pompeo told AreaNapoli.it.
"It is very unlikely Porto would let him leave in January, because they still need him for the Champions League and to chase Benfica in the table, so consequently Martinez will only move at the end of the season.
"He'd be happy at Napoli because we are talking about a very special club, but he'd be happy with Roma, Milan or Juventus too. They are all great teams."
Martinez has scored 19 goals in 23 appearances this season.
