Saido Berahino refuses to rule out West Bromwich Albion departure

Saido Berahino refuses to rule out a move away from West Bromwich Albion as reports continue to link him with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Saido Berahino has refused to suggest whether his long-term future is with West Bromwich Albion as he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

The Baggies striker scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday, but he stopped short of confirming that he would like to leave The Hawthorns if rumoured interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur was to result in an official approach.

"I'm playing, I can't complain," the 21-year-old, who has now scored 21 goals for club and country this season, told Sky Sports News. "I'm starting to score goals again, which I'm enjoying. That's as far as it goes.

"Obviously I've got big ambitions, but at the moment I'm a West Brom player and I'm enjoying my football.

"There are always rumours going around, but I can't control anything. The only thing I can control is what I do on the field."

New West Brom head coach Tony Pulis revealed earlier this week that he was desperate to keep Berahino at the club.
