Joe Cole reveals that he wants to stay at Liverpool.

Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole has revealed that he wants to stay at the club.

The 31-year-old, who has played only five games this season due to a hamstring injury, was on the scoresheet during Thursday's 2-2 draw with Young Boys in the Europa League.

"Of course I want to stay at Liverpool," Cole told ITV Sport. "I was a good player at West Ham, Chelsea and Lille and I think I can be a good player for Liverpool.

"I have been getting stronger and it's normal that players want to play football."

Cole joined the Merseysiders on a free transfer from Chelsea in summer 2010.
