Georginio Wijnaldum's proposed move from Liverpool to Barcelona at the end of the season remains in the balance, according to a report.
The Netherlands international is out of contract in the summer and is wanted by compatriot Ronald Koeman at Barca on a free transfer.
Wijnaldum, who has spent the last five seasons at Anfield, has been free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with the Catalan giants since the turn of the year.
According to the Liverpool Echo, however, a move to Catalonia is by no means a given due to uncertainty over the manager's position.
Koeman has pushed hard to sign Wijnaldum, but the former Southampton and Everton boss is under pressure after a disappointing first season in charge.
Barca are also in a bad financial position, meaning that they cannot offer Wijnaldum wages that some other clubs can.
Should the Dutchman indeed depart in the summer, Liverpool are rumoured to have lined up Brighton & Hove Albion's Yves Bissouma and Lille's Renato Sanches as possible replacements.
