Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has advised Steven Gerrard to leave Liverpool.

Gerrard, 32, has spent his entire club career at Anfield, but Ibrahimovic believes that the Reds captain would benefit from moving abroad.

"Of course, Liverpool is a big club, but I would like to see Steven in a big international club," said the Sweden star.

"I would like to see it also for England, because it is very exciting when someone goes abroad and shows who he is in another competition.

"For me, a fantastic player can make a difference in every country wherever he plays. I'm pretty sure that Steven would do that. He's a fantastic player."

Gerrard will make his 100th senior appearance for England tonight, when he leads the Three Lions out against Sweden in Stockholm.
