Inter Milan are reportedly not in the running for Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
The Austria international has still not penned a new deal at the Allianz Arena, and as it stands, he will be free to discuss terms with foreign clubs at the start of 2021.
Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, who played a key role in Bayern's treble-winning 2019-20 campaign.
Inter were also mentioned as possible candidates for the versatile defender, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Antonio Conte's side are not in the running as they cannot afford his substantial wages.
Alaba remains a key figure for Bayern, scoring once and providing one assist in 11 appearances this season, and he could yet pen a new contract with the reigning European champions.
The nine-time Bundesliga winner is thought to favour a move to Spain over England or France if he does decide to seek pastures new in 2021.
