Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keeping tabs on the progress of Borussia Monchengladbach dynamo Mahmoud Dahoud.
The Reds were thought to be keen on a move for the Syrian-born playmaker during the summer, but were unable to get a deal over the line given Borussia's insistence on keeping one of their key players.
According to The Express, however, Klopp does not appear to have given up on one of his potential targets, having reportedly sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action against Manchester City in the Champions League.
Dahoud has featured for Germany at an Under-21 level and is thought to be valued in the region of £25m.
