Report: Manchester City keen on Mahmoud Dahoud

A report in Germany claims that Pep Guardiola will look to make Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud one of his first signings as Manchester City boss.

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud could reportedly become one of Pep Guardiola's first signings when he takes charge of Manchester City in the summer.

A number of players have been linked with switches to the Etihad Stadium under the Guardiola regime, including Neymar and Paul Pogba.

However, Bild claims that one of the incoming manager's major targets is 20-year-old Dahoud.

This season has been a breakthrough one for the Germany youth international, who has scored twice in 28 appearances for Monchengladbach.

He also came up against City home and away in the Champions League group stages.
