Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger Yevhen Konoplyanka has reportedly set his sights on joining Liverpool before the close of the January transfer window tonight.
The Ukraine international has been linked with the Merseyside outfit, as well as the Reds' Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports have claimed that Liverpool's managing director Ian Ayre has been in talks with Dnipro over the last few days as they try to secure a deal before tonight's 11pm deadline.
Despite reported interest from Spurs, it is understood that Konoplyanka is keen on moving to Anfield, according to Sky Sports News.
Liverpool are said to have initially identified Konoplyanka as a summer target, but rushed to get the winger into the club after failing to land Basel's Mohamed Salah, who opted for a move to Chelsea.
