Liverpool have confirmed the arrival of Colombian attacker Luis Diaz from Porto.
The 25-year-old joins the Reds on a long-term contract - reported to be a five-year deal - from Sergio Conceicao's side, and he will wear the number 23 shirt at Anfield.
Porto will reportedly receive up to £50m from the sale of Diaz, who leaves the club after registering 41 goals and 19 assists in 125 games for the club in all competitions.
The Colombia international was originally thought to be heading for Tottenham Hotspur but supposedly had his heart set on a move to Liverpool, as he becomes the Reds' first signing of the January window.
Diaz caught the eye with 14 goals and five assists in 18 Primeira Liga appearances during the first half of the 2021-22 season and faced Liverpool twice in the Champions League group stages.
The former Barranquilla attacker is currently preparing for Colombia's World Cup 2022 Qualifying clash with Argentina on Tuesday and could make his debut for the Reds in the fourth round of the FA Cup against Cardiff City on February 6.
