Liverpool are weighing up a move for Barcelona's Samuel Umtiti in their search for another new centre-back, according to a report.
The Reds brought in Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak as emergency cover in the January window after losing Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to long-term injuries.
Jurgen Klopp has also had to make do without Joel Matip since the opening month of the year, all of which has contributed to a terrible Premier League title defence.
Despite the arrivals of two new centre-backs earlier this season, The Boot Room claims that Liverpool are looking for further cover in defence.
It is suggested that Umtiti, who has fallen down the pecking order at Camp Nou under Ronald Koeman, could be on the Merseyside outfit's radar ahead of the summer window.
Umtiti has been restricted to just 14 appearances in all competitions this season and has two years to run on his contract.
Should the France international be signed, Liverpool will almost certainly reject the chance to turn Kabak's loan switch into a permanent deal for £18m.
