Liverpool 'eye move for Jay Rodriguez'

Liverpool are reportedly lining up a move to sign Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez despite his injury problem as they look to replace Luis Suarez.

Liverpool are eyeing a move for Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez, according to a report.

The Reds have already signed Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert from the Saints this summer and are also interested in defender Dejan Lovren.

Rodriguez tore his ACL in April and is expected to be out until October, but Brendan Rodgers is still keen on adding the 24-year-old to his squad, reports the Daily Mail.

Liverpool also have an interest in Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony and Queens Park Rangers' Loic Remy as they seek to replace Luis Suarez.
