Liverpool 'eye Ramadan Sobhi move'

Liverpool consider a surprise move for Stoke City attacker Ramadan Sobhi, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a surprise move for Stoke City attacker Ramadan Sobhi.

Stoke paid £5m to sign Sobhi from Al Ahly in January 2016, and the attacker has scored three times in 41 appearances for the Potters in all competitions.

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has personally recommended Sobhi to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, and the Merseyside outfit are now preparing a swoop for the Egypt international at the end of the season.

The report claims that Stoke are looking for £15m for a player that has scored three times in 22 appearances for his Premier League club during the 2017-18 campaign.

Liverpool will seemingly face a battle to keep hold of Sobhi's international teammate Salah this summer as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain continue to be linked with big-money moves for the Premier League's leading scorer this season.
