Liverpool still interested in Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev?

Liverpool are still interested in signing Real Madrid's 24-year-old winger Denis Cheryshev, while Valencia also remain keen on the Russian international.

Liverpool retain an interest in signing Real Madrid's Russian winger Denis Cheryshev, reports suggest.

The 24-year-old, who has supposedly been handed a €20m (£14.7m) price tag, wants to leave the Spanish side due to a lack of playing time, according to AS.

The Metro previously stated that the Anfield club had opened talks with the Russian international, while Valencia were also reported to have made their interest in the player known.

Cheryshev, yet to make a senior appearance for Madrid, has been out on loan at Villareal and Sevilla in the previous two seasons.
