Liverpool reportedly join the hunt to sign Napoli's Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz.

Liverpool have reportedly joined the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona in the hunt to sign Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz in next summer's transfer window.

The Spain international only joined Napoli from Real Betis last summer, with the midfielder still having four years left to run on the five-year contract that he penned upon his arrival in Naples.

The Italian giants are said to be attempting to remove the release clause in the 23-year-old's contract to protect his value amid interest from Spain.

However, according to Calciomercato, Carlo Ancelotti's side will also have to fight off interest from the Premier League as Liverpool have now joined the race.

The report also mentions Bayern Munich as potential suitors for the Spaniard, who scored seven times and provided three assists in 40 appearances for Napoli during the 2018-19 campaign.
