Liverpool are reportedly looking to cash in on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer, with the midfielder entering the final year of his contract.

Liverpool are reportedly looking to cash in on midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in this summer's transfer window.

The 28-year-old has failed to nail down a regular place in Jurgen Klopp's starting lineup, with injuries one of the main factors behind his lack of game time.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will soon be entering the final year of his contract and one report claims that he is growing increasingly concerned about his future at Anfield.

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool will look to sell the England international this summer to avoid losing him for free when his deal expires in 2023.

West Ham United and Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa are believed to have been alerted by Oxlade-Chamberlain's situation, while Newcastle United may also reignite their interest after attempting the lure the midfielder to St James' Park in January.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who joined Liverpool from Arsenal for around £34.2m in 2017, has started 17 of his 29 appearances for the Reds across all competitions in 2021-22, scoring only three goals.
